Test LiD – Understand Germany and Build your Future

The “Living in Germany” test is the official final test of the Orientation Course in the Integration Program. It is organized by the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF) and is recognized throughout Germany.

Passing this test shows that you have important knowledge about life in Germany.

Why is the “Living in Germany” test important?

The “Life in Germany” (LiD) certificate is often required for citizenship, permanent residence permits, and certain other residency procedures.
It confirms that you understand the fundamental social and legal structures of Germany.
