What can you do at level C1?

At this level you can understand a wide range of demanding, lengthy texts and also grasp implicit meanings. You can also express yourself spontaneously and fluently. You can use the German language effectively and flexibly in social and professional life or in training and studies. You can maintain a high degree of grammatical accuracy.

How is the exam structured?

The telc Deutsch C1 Beruf exam consists of a written and an oral section. The written examination takes about 3 hours and 40 minutes (including a 20-minute break). Before the oral examination, you have 20 minutes to prepare for it.
