What can you do at the B2 and C1 levels?

At the B2 level you can understand the main ideas of complex texts on both concrete and abstract topics. You can also communicate spontaneously and fluently. At the C1 level you can express yourself fluently and spontaneously. You are familiar with colloquial phrases and can vary your language style. You are able to maintain a high level of grammatical correctness.

How is the exam structured?

The telc Deutsch B1-B2 exam consists of a written and an oral section. The written examination lasts approximately 170 minutes, with a break before the subpart "Writing". There is no preparation time directly before the oral examination. The presentation in part 2 of the oral examination should already be prepared at home.
