The examination is suitable for persons who have a recognised qualification in a nursing profession and who must prove that they have B1 or B2 knowledge of the German language in order to practice this profession. telc Deutsch B1-B2 Pflege is a specialised language examination for nursing staff in the care of the elderly and sick.

telc Deutsch B1-B2 Pflege is a dual-level examination. This means it offers a differentiated evaluation of your language competence. You will find out exactly in which areas you have reached the B1 or B2 level.

What can you do at the B1 and B2 level?

At the B1 level you can express yourself in a simple and coherent way on familiar topics and personal areas of interest. At level B2 you can understand the main ideas of complex texts on both concrete and abstract topics. You can also communicate spontaneously and fluently.

How is the exam structured?

The telc German B1-B2 exam consists of a written and an oral section. The written examination takes 1 hour and 55 minutes. Before the oral examination you have 20 minutes preparation time.
