DTZ – German Test for Immigrants
DTZ – a step towards your future in Germany
The German Test for Immigrants (DTZ) is the official language examination which is taken at the end of the integration course. It is conducted on behalf of the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF) and is recognized throughout Germany.
Your DTZ certificate confirms your German language skills at the CEF level A2 or B1.
Why is the DTZ important?
The DTZ certificate is relevant for citizenship, permanent residence permits, employment and vocational training, as well as being proof of your language skills for authorities.
A qualification at level B1 significantly improves your professional and personal opportunities.
