Aim

The exam by the IHK is subject to public law and tests every business process in international corporations and companies. To pass the exam one needs to proof knowledge of business concerns on a C1-level (according to the European Framework of Reference) both orally and in writing.

Target Group

The further education is aimed at office management staff, dual-system students and apprentices.

Content

  • Translation of common correspondence (business letters and emails)
  • Telephoning
  • Knowledge of shipments (incl. INCOTERMS) and payment transactions
  • Contracts, Marketing and Sales

Requirements

Precognition English from level B1 (CEF)

Permission to sit the exam is granted if the final examination in an acknowledged commercial, administrative or service-providing recognized occupation requiring formal training was successful or if adequate language skills, commercial knowledge and writing skills have been acquired - to be verified by a confirmation for the participation in relevant qualification courses or a comparable exam under public law.

Duration about 270 units (1 unit = 45 minutes)

Face-to-face or group training up to 5 participants
